Warranty: The warranty applies to the quality of workmanship used in the installation process.  We at Legacy Turf & Irrigation guarantee all work performed to be above the accepted industry standard.  For plants, proper horticultural techniques are used for all installations.  All quality of work for irrigation installation is guaranteed for a period of one year against faulty workmanship or quality of installation.  Manufacturers warranty for equipment again related to irrigation installation is valid for a period of three years. 

GENERAL WARRANTY AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Legacy Turf & Irrigation warrants that all plants are as specified, healthy and true to name.  On current accounts, Legacy Turf will replace once without charge any tree, shrub or vine that dies within twelve months of the date of installation, if plant material is under irrigation.  Plants not under irrigation will be covered by the above warranty for six months from date of installation.  Replacements are limited to plants installed by Legacy Turf.  All claims for loss must be reported within the warranty period.  This warranty will be in effect subject to the following conditions:

Sod will carry a thirty day warranty if under irrigation.  Sod not under irrigation carries no warranty.  Seeded turf areas are guaranteed to germinate and cover a minimum of 90% of area seeded, provided areas grassed are neither eroded, washed away nor damaged by others.  Legacy Turf can not be responsible for disease or insect problems.
3. Perennials will carry a ninety day guarantee.  Annuals are not guaranteed.
4. Legacy Turf is not responsible for losses due to neglect, physical damage by others, pets, rodents, insects, drought, acts of God or other causes beyond our control.
5. Legacy Turf will take every precaution and will use proper horticultural techniques to move your transplanted material; however, transplanted material carries no warranty.
6. Approved losses will be replaced at the appropriate time of year, at the original contracted size.  Generally, replacements will be installed between October and May due to favorable weather conditions.
7. Owner is responsible for locating all utilities not covered by NC ULOCO.  Legacy Turf will not be responsible for lines and utilities that are improperly located.
8. An extra charge may be applied for concealed contingencies such as buried rock or debris, severe hardpan, poor drainage, etc. not readily apparent in estimating the work specified.
9. Legacy Turf is not responsible for delays caused by weather, acts of God, and delays in shipment of materials or any other cause beyond our control.
10. This warranty does not include any watering or maintenance after substantial completion and acceptance other than properly installed irrigation systems by Legacy Turf.
11. Any irrigation system installed by Legacy Turf will be comprised of approved manufacturer equipment and as such will be covered by all manufacturer warranties up to three years in duration.  In addition, Legacy Turf provides a one year warranty on all parts and installation.
